5k, 20% — Maybe it'll be longer than I thought. A novelette? Ah, let's just keep going.

Day 12:

10k, 15% — Too much backstory, not enough plot. Concentrate, dummy.

Day 20:

20k, 30% — "Pipe down, you're minor characters."

Day 25:

25k, 40% — Need a better Bad Guy.

Day 27:

30k, 25% — Urk. Now what did I do? How is the Good Guy gonna catch him and round up all his minions?

Day 35:

35k, 30% — Oh, that's how. Yeah, that works.

Day 36:

36k, 27% — "What are you doing here? You were supposed to be a minor character."

Day 45:

39k, 31% — Oops. She's supposed to be in love with Harry, not George. There. Fixed it.
